Why We Built This Site
Texas court access begins with the office that owns the file. In Hale County, the District Clerk keeps records for the 64th and 242nd District Courts, while the County Clerk keeps County Court records. Justice and municipal courts maintain their own lower-court dockets. The county's Tyler Odyssey public-access portal and re:SearchTX can help locate a case, but neither replaces an official copy from the correct clerk. We organize the verified contacts, portals, calendar sources, and request paths so readers can identify that custodian before making a request.
What You Will Find Here
- Case lookups: ways to use the Hale County case lookup by name or cause number
- Docket guides: how criminal docket searches and civil docket searches differ
- Record requests: where to request court records, file images, and certified copies
- Dates and settings: how to consult court dates and confirm a setting with the proper office
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site with no connection to a Texas court, clerk, or government agency. Its role is limited:
- We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
- We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now
Only the clerk of court or the trial court that heard the case can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
Search Partners
Third-party providers power search boxes on some pages. Each provider controls its service, results, and prices. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may generate a referral fee that supports this resource. We do not set the provider's charges or determine which records its results display.
